BOBS App (Best Owned Best Sellers) is a community-driven marketplace designed to help consumers discover, support, and engage with Black-owned businesses across the United States.
The platform combines business discovery, product exploration, storytelling, social engagement, and creator-style community interaction into a single mobile-first experience. Publicly available information describes BOBS as a marketplace where users can browse Black-owned businesses by category and location, explore products and services, follow business stories, and engage through likes and sharing.
The goal of this project was to create a product that feels purposeful, empowering, and easy to use, while helping underrepresented businesses gain visibility and build stronger customer relationships.
